The power to exact influence on a particular realm
Of sports, science, business, or schooling,
Is based entirely on knowledge, creativity, skill, and insight.
This power to know is contained in facts
Which are tied to the burdens carried,
And to results which may be brilliantly surmised and eagerly assessed.
Forthcoming are the owners of diverse pieces of the infinite puzzle,
Demonstrating that the power to know
Involves immediate and unforeseen risks,
In which the facts rule out one course of action
In favor of another successful, yet risky strategy.
