Once it will all be over

One of the brighter times in my life. Still trying to convince myself of some things...

Once it will all be over,
I thought
It will take some time
But at one time, it will all be over.

I was right
You may still hold a place in my heart,
Though I drove you out of most parts,
You’re just a tiny part

It will all be over,
I broke your curse
I broke my love for you
I freed myself.

Only me,
For this is my most important time yet
To survive, to achieve
Something farther away.

I will be alone,
Though I will be accompanied,
By my thoughts, by my trust,
That everything will be over.

I smile when I see my friends
Hugging them, making jokes with them,
They’re here now,
To see me smile.

My smile will last until my last breath.
Because I know,
They will be there for me,
And one day it will all be over.
