Eyes of the Sun

What I see when I look into the eyes of the sun.

When I look into the eyes of the sun,
I can see the fire that burns within its core.
It starts off as a flickering flame that quickly blazes out of control.
Its heat seeping through its every pore.

Its gaze holds a light that sparkles
like a star in the night sky.
Its sensuous heat
makes me want to embrace it with a long sigh.

I stand
and gaze,
reveling in its brilliant light;
The heat from its rays.

I know everything is going to be okay.
I don’t have to worry about what’s been done.
I know this
Every time I stare into the eyes of the sun.
