Happily Sad

Inspired to write this poem during a dull period.

Indefinite path, choose your own fate,
Expiry date to be confirmed.
Nothing comes close to the feeling of nothing,
Why laugh when you can cry?

Hopefulness hopelessness holding the wheel,
Numbness feelings that I never feel.
Positive negative making me glad,
I’m never happy when I’m not sad.
