poem: the need to confess

poem i wrote about love. please review! :P

Courage
Fearlessness
The power to do
And to be who I want to be

These are the things I need
The things I want
The things I can have
But I am too afraid to lose

All the other fears
All the other doubts
They become nearly obsolete
Compared to the feat which I must do next

Confess to her
Say it to her face
Tell her the things I feel
The emotions running through me
When she appears inside my mind

Why is it so hard?
Why is it so difficult?
Why does it feel like the hardest thing I have ever had to do?

But I must do it
I must face up to my fears
And tell her how I fee;
I must do what I am so terrified to do

Or she will slip through my fingers
And be out of reach
Out of reach forever

I must steel myself
Prepare myself
And come to know myself

And tell her how I feel
And what I want
And what I need

I must obtain the power
Locked within myself

I must confess
I must surrender
I must prepare

I must unlock my heart
