Sacred Heart


I sit in open wonder
-At the beauty surrounding me
The stars lift up my heart
-To the light of your mercy.


The dark confined to night
-As sun breaks through the dawn
Your love the life of all who long
-To forever sing Your glorious song.


You shower us with gracious gifts
-The woods, the sun, the sky
But the grace of your most sacred heart
-Gives us true joy inside.
