The Rain

Truly, this is a poem of sadness and heartbreak...

torrential downpour
the rain has come
its here to wash away
there is no time for games
the sky has darkened
to a deep shade of gray
the clouds rolled in
and blocked the sun away
there is nothing left
of this sunny day
its no longer clear
there is no more cheer
the rain, it pours
and the water floods
its here to wash away
