"Hands up in prayer"


hands up in prayer,
thousand moments of despair
so many doubts, thoughts unclear...
you wonder why has God been so unfair,

One moment high on hope,
you see the world with bright eyes
lots of promises, life filled with new scope
riding with the tide..
you feel strong enough to fight
willing to forget last day's plight!

How far will we go who knows,
what will happen to him when he grows,
you brood, you fret, you ponder..
mixed emotions, what a bag of wonder!

hey believe me you are not alone,
there are others who suffer and moan,
together we have to seek,
even if it looks bleak,
keep going, seeds of hope sowing,

go ahead and dare!
'coz only the weak ask,
why God has been unfair!
Hands up in prayer.....
