my friend

i wrote this poem for a very good friend of mine that helped me through a tough time

Your friendship means the world to me i hope you know its true,

That whenever you need me i will always be there for you.

You have a special place in my heart and i never thought that would be,

As i never let anyone in to get to know the real me.

But somehow you are different you really seem to care,

Finding someone like you is so very rare.

So when you're feeling lonely look to your side and you will see,

Standing right beside you there i will always be.
