What are dreams?
Illusions made by the mind,
Or memories on replay?
The dreams I once had,
Gone in the wind.

Faith!
What is faith?
Believing in something,
Something that has failed.
No faith left, too many
Years between then and now.

Hope!
What is hope?
Wondering if it will arrive,
Wishing for something to happen.
My hope has rescinded.
Disappeared in the night.

Love!
What is love?
Never seeing the faults of another,
Always being reminded of my own.
I am unable to understand.
Difficult for them to comprehend.
