Memories of the Past

Since i fell in love with him...

Life is an endless stream of sorrow since I fell in love with you.

Occasionally a bright light will come shining through

I try so hard to just soak it up, make just make it last

But it will leave and I have nothing but memories of the past



         Life is full of frustration since I fell in love with you.

All our stupid fights make me wonder how we ever make it through.

But we do and I’m so happy, but I know it’ll never last

And once again I have to live with memories of the past



         Life is hopeless and dark since I fell in love with you

You tell me yourself its going to be hard to make it through

I do not know if together we can make this last

And then we both would be stuck with memories of the past.



         Life has been full of heartache since I fell in love with you

Its not supposed to be like this, why do I even try to make it through

Too much pain, too much hurt, my heart will never last

But I know I cannot live with just memories of the past.
