My Season


Chilling cold, caressing,
softly swinging, singing― Wind.
Crisp, carefully coloured,
continuously changing― Leaves.

Shining, smiling sunrise
seems suddenly slow and late.
While the waning sun sets,
slippery shadows slither;
and billowing blankets
of fog filters into air.

Shape-shifting, wispy winds,
craftily coloured canvas
of nurturing nature,
ever transforming through time.

My favorite season,
forever fabulous― Fall!
