Why don't the battles end ?

I wrote this when my uncle went overseas to the war and I was sad for he mightnot comeback

WHY DON"T THE BATTLES END?

They sound the alarm they ring the bells
This is toward a place I call Hell.
Iraq is were this horrible event takes place
Killing men and women of the human race .
They go fight for this country which we stand.
Fighting for us hand in hand .
Unfortunately in this process theres people dying
That means families are crying .
Right beside you .you see your best friend dying
If you were them would you be crying?
To be in the army you have to be tough.
because the army is bruttle & rough !
You serve the U.S.A to risk your life .
I hope that you don't do it in strife .
Maybe the war will finally end
If not will you stick into it untill we win ?
I would love for the war to end would you ?
when it finally does I'll say wahoo!
WAIT ! I have a question
Why can't we all be friends ?
can't we just call a truce to the very end ?
