Being Lied to

About one of my moms boyfriends and how he lied to her.

How can you tell when someone
is lying to you? Even though
your heart tells you different.
Can you see truth in his eyes
when he tells you "I love
you", or do you see other
things that are hurtful to your
heart and soul? Does he treat
you like your his queen,
if not why do you think this is the
right one? Trusting his words,
even though they couldn't be.
Thoughts about it begin
to torment you, cause you couldn't
stand to be without him.
How do you know if
he's just using you to get
what he wants?
