Just going through one of those bad times and this poem came out of it. |
| Oh for a tast, just one taste, oh yes please, Please, I beg of you, numb my aching heart? This weight, so heavy, brings me to my knees, Violently shaking, I’m torn apart. Silently seeking the solace I need, I drink from the sea named ‘Oblivion’. Numbness pervades, with soporific speed, My senses, awakening this Zion. Lost in the transition, ‘twixt I and me, Is the state of being, in which I find Myself so animated, endlessly Marooned, lost, so deep within my own mind. What I’ve said, let there be no mistaking, Self-death, a 'Nirvana' it will ne’er bring. |
