Pain is what they both feel
Making comments back & forth
Who's right, who's wrong,
Just what are they trying to express
Besides the point that they are unhappy.
Things are said that aren't suppose to
She storms out of the room
He sits there hopeless & confused
What's the next thing that could happen
Who knows? Just let it ease over time.
He's very unhappy & so is she
Just make up & things will collide
But she starts again & he listens
He speaks & it's like he's not there
They go their separate ways without another word.
