Those Who Serve, Those Who Wait


Who stands a post in a far-off land? Soldiers.

Who gladly serves and lends a hand? Soldiers.

Who bravely strides into the fray and battles on to win the day?

Who fights for right, whate'er they say? Soldiers.


Who helps us all feel safe inside? Soldiers.

Who makes our hearts swell full of pride? Soldiers.

Who gets our prayers when, far from sleep,

and nameless fears begin to creep,

to crowd our thoughts, 'til we must weep?

SOLDIERS!
