Reliving the choice I've made, mistake that keep replaying in my mind

I struggle as I relieve,
    the days gone by

I angonize as I replay
    what had took place

I remember the hurt the pain,
    the betryal
As days gone by still
    played in my mind like a
    VCR stuck on rewind

I dwindled down my last pencil
      as I chewed on it wondering
      what now.  Wishing the day
      pass away quickly

As I thought to just move on, I just
      couldn't, like I was stuck in time

Memories filled my mind, time almost
stood still, and regret became my best
        frind

All this because life was moving on
All this because I forgot to blink
All this because I made a mistake,
        an error in judgement
All this because I was too human, to
        human to know any better
