Showing you truly love another...

I thought of you again today.
My chest clinched tight with fear.
Advancing age, declining health.
Ticking away the years…

I know of all your worries,
those thoughts inside your head.
The thing to do, I beg of you,
is just what Jesus said.

Believe Him as the Savior.
No other words are true,
open your heart, then your mind,
He’ll show you what to do.

I thought of you again today.
I’m fearful for your life.
Not the life of this earth,
the one when you meet Christ.
