Snow day

About a boy who is so excited to go out and play in the snow.

It was a beautiful day
And I wanted to go
Out in the yard
To play in the snow
I wanted to slide
Down a hill on my sled
And throw huge snowballs
At my dorky friend Jed
Across town to grandmas
I would then go
To make very fat snowmen
In her yard of white snow
As I told my mom
What I wanted to do
I quickly put on
My coat, hat, and shoes
Then just as I thought
I was ready to play
My mom starts to laugh
As she says not today
Honey there is no snow
In the middle of May
