Poem of TAX TIME

Sleep will soon cost.

A chip installed at birth,
will alert when your asleep.

Even for children parents will pay,
keeping them awake they will weep.

Energy drinks all night,
washing down cereal bars.

Another seven cents per hour,
under the dreaming stars.

Here in tax all Massachusetts,
rest will fill official pockets.

So brew the coffee to stay awake,
and keep eyes open in their sockets.

Perhaps in another state,
others sleep at ease.

But here we pay,
for each of our z's!
