Loving Hands

A rap of Faith

I can't wait till my freedom can shine
This day will come in a matter of time
Seconds tic as minutes pass
I will erase memories of my haunting pass

Hours that slowly turn into days
But I am bettering my self in many ways
Months go by that add up to years
Time has dried up all my tears

I ask the Lord to cleanse my heart
To prepare my life for a brand new start
I am deteremined to succeed, I have no doubt
Because my Heavenly Father will help me out

I will make wise choices to achieve my goals
I will try my best through the heart and soul
If my heart could speak it would likely say
I will never fail you or go astray

My life is happy, plain and quite simple
Because I was blessed when I needed a miracle
God's promises prevail, and his love will prosper
God is my savior and there is no other

Day by day blessings unfold
Stay faithful to God is what I was told
I know in my heart what I must do
To live eternal life I must follow his rules

I pray this Lord my soul to take
And please forgive me my mistakes
I was once weak but now I stand
Since I was touched by God's loving hands.
