A poem with a sharp contrast of perspective. |
| I see the stars and planets, That span the galaxy, I see this wonder in your eyes, But that's not what you see. I hear melodic chimes, Such music to my ear. I hear such wonder in your voice, But that's not what you hear. I see a scaly demon, In the mirror across from me, I'm such a monster, But that's not what you see. I hear a shredded string, That many people fear, That it shall never end, But that's not what you hear. I think your hearing's gone, I think you cannot see. I think you've got me wrong, But that's not what you think. -Dakota Jordan |
