It was all orange
The sun was heading home
I floated above the pebble studded path
Leading into the ocean, the waves and the froth
Little creatures everywhere
Going home in pairs
I was waiting
For I knew he would come
And then he did
His body silhouetted against the sky dimly lit
I couldn’t I see his face
But I knew his smile and gaze
I flew into his open arms
And collided into his soul so warm
That single moment was everything to me
He was my safest place to be
