What does the future have in store?
Our whole lives spent chasing answers
Never to find the meaning
Dreaming of eternal bliss
Each of us following an unattainable goal
Realizing our failures

Admiring the confidence of others
Negotiating within ourselves
Denying what lies ahead

We strive for truth and purpose
Acknowledge temporary achievements
Never finding personal happiness
Deception and chaos reign
Eventually understanding what can’t be understood
Recognizing to respect the unknown
