my tears of i dont know what

these tears burn my flesh as they run down
they form a pool of despair at my feet
i drop to my knees and feel them bring me closer to forfeit

these tears burn my flesh as they run down
they are a dam bursting free from years of regret
i no longer feel as they overcome my will to continue

these tears burn my flesh until you come and redeem me
