A poem of extreme desire for the one I love. |
| When I look at you -- When I think of you; You are ever present In my conscious mind. I feel I can fly When I stand by you. Let me glide the sky through, Even in the Hell within which I live. My heart forever labors over you, For a heart that hurts Is a heart that works. This unending pain I feel, Ever over do I keel. I shan't have you, My reason to live. Yet, if it is your want, Then it is to you that I give. Your heart's desire -- My bound pain's afire Just to grant to you, Your dreams. You shall have it all: An ounce of gold for my cliffing fall. And if you shall die, My life I give for yours. For a life without you Is but Hell's eternal living punishment. |
