A poem encouraging one to find hope beyond the pain... |
| Times of darkness oft do bring forth fear threats of silence to ears that long to hear til lightening strikes and thunder roars as clear blue skies parade no more Drops of rain oft chill the bone stunning the depths of the warmest soul when fear and doubt bring forth no hope for the morrow leaving in its wake pools of sorrow But that is when depression possesses the soul stealing faith crippling hope blinding eyes meant to see beyond the scope of reality But when joy returns to a once wounded soul renewing faith restoring hope the power of darkness loses its strength and the darkest storm can still bring rest for in God's presence the light never fades darkness may come but it cannot prevail Strong winds may blow circumstances may show no change but beauty can be found even when it rains So dance with me in rains from heaven let us swim in heaven's mist Let us spread our wings, and dance and sing and share in heaven's kiss |
