Guardian Angel

Strange as it may sound, I dreamt this then woke up and instantly wrote it down.

Dream of me and the world will come together

For I am the angel that walks in forever

With blackened wings and soiled feet I brush the ashes of defeat from you

You who are so true

With your shining soul of glittering light

One might go blind from such a sight

Be as you may

Be as you are

You’ll find no one better no matter how far you search

I have seen the world future and past

And your loveliness is superbly unmatched

Shadowy Demons skitter about

They haunt you the most because they fear the change you’ll bring around

As they should be

Because you can see

The finest threads in the grand design

And heal them where they’ve shred

You are a fluke of humanity

And yet the most powerful we’ve ever had

You are your mothers daughter

As you already know

You are her cherished one

Because you’re the unknown.
