a poem for my lover by the sea side |
| I'm living in a world of vibration the deep honey skin illusions and sin bad white mad rabbit she said come you useful idiot don't wait up walk with me don't be jealous the shame in wandering eyes I dream of playing trumpets at night I start counting backwards Silent sighs in lucid dreams she speeds the heart she's all around me she may be naive may be mine possibly against all odds it gives me something to believe in an age of light a joyful girl with smile lines and a sledge hammer against my glass heart she has me pinned just the way i like it if my chest explodes and I die tonight at least it will give you all of me |
