Love Poem of a different kind... |
The Perfect Kind I feel strange when you show me the world you see Now I know that it is full of oblivious people like me Diverse yet identical, we suffer in the search of glee Masked with hate and love, we are what we want to be Dark shadows of the grim past have cursed us to be blind Yet you show me love through your eyes of the perfect kind I am disturbed when you tell me what violence can bring Hurt, loss and sorrows and not a merry song to sing Yet marching together, we can form an unbroken string Praying, teaching and healing every child, being and thing Belief and conviction have left the ebbing strength of my mind Yet you enlighten my path with your words of the perfect kind I feel elated, now that you bring me back from my grave Shattering the concrete, you show me how to be brave Strong and focused, I have learnt to comfort and to save Praying that others would follow, living a life like you gave Humanity and affection are the binding forces of the mankind A perspective from a thoughtful lesson by a girl of the perfect kind - Harshal |
