55 Fiction: Oh the death of me

Writing a story with EXACTLY 55 words is not exactly easy.

They found me, cut and bound me, and dragged me into a hot dry prison.
They seemed to enjoy this all the while and put me out for the world to see.
When they were done with me they stripped me and dumped me outside, naked and thirsty;
as if christmas trees didn’t have feelings.
