I founded The Scribes because other groups were too diverse in their writers' skills (ranging from the regularly published to the virgin author) and not very active. I think it's important to let people earn membership; too often these days, competition is looked down upon as unjust, when really, that's the only fair way to do anything. No more soapbox. Enjoy.
