Poem that was published in A Celebration of Young Poets. |
| Oh! Where a person could go To peaceful valleys so low To high mountains with snow to hold And rocks of old To a great forest you can go With roots so low And leaves so high To find a desert so vast Its winds so fast To the sky of blue You might not have a clue But to wonderful flight With the owl of night Or the eagle of light To have their wonderful sight Oh! Where a person could go But I am left behind With no one to be kind But I will not get low Oh! Where your dreams can go |
