Self Confidence

A more upbeat poem. About self worth, and false impressions.

Sometimes I can be reckless
sometimes I am a fool
but never am I feckless
or unusually cruel...

at least not when a heart's involved
or someone's peace of mind
never shall I ever be labeled
as heartlessly unkind.

Everyone who knows me
knows that this is true
and if you don't agree
you don't know me like you should

'cause I can be the best friend
that anybody has
lots of people love me
with everything they have.

because I am quite simply worth it
because I love with all I've got
and to anyone who's earned it
I have nothing but heart...

so go ahead and label me
as anything you'd like...
I know exactly what I am
I am perfect in my own right.
