Why can't I write?

I can't write because of this little girl beside me.

I sit here and I try to write, but I cannot.
Why can't I? It probably is because of this little girl beside me who just won't go to sleep. She keeps pushing buttons and laughs when I tell her to stop. She's awfully cute with her big brown eyes and pink nightgown so I forgive her for it. She sits here beside me and drops things down between my chair and my end table.
I want to write, but I cannot. Can't she just get tired and fall asleep?
