CHRISTMAS ANGELS

I am not sure where the angels were but I heard them sing
the praises of the blessing that brought our beloved king.
The light that radiated from the shimmering of wings
blinded me to the troubles that this earthly life brings.

There is no reason for the tears, the sadness and pain,
for if we trust in our Savior the angels will remain
a beacon in the night, those angels from up above
will shower us here on earth with Jesus' true love.

Peace, hope and joy to men on earth, the song is heard,
how can we doubt when we hear the awesome word?
'Tis the glory of His goodness the Christmas Angels tell,
"Fear not, for He is with us - in time all will be well"

I hope others see and hear the angels as I have this night
and I pray that for others that things will turn out right.
I wish for those in need that they will endure the test;
for the lonely, friends to care, and for all to be blessed.
