That's Everything ... |
| A hungry damsel found in the hollow of a tree some bread and fish. With each delightful bite she slid further into the hollow of the tree. But, so geedily did she devour, she grew swollen and could not squeeze out of the tree. A young shepard happened by and heard the whinning and groaning of the swollen damsel. The shepard peered passed the butt of the damsel and asked what had happened. She explained what the matter was. "Well, my friend, I see nothing for it but for you to stay where you are till your belly shrinks. You'll get out easily enough." said the shepard. "But how can I relieve myself with my britches on?" the damsel pleaded. The shepard removed her britches, "I fear now I am obliged to endulge my appetite." replied the shepard. And he greedily enter the damsel, devouring all her modesty. "Now, I am a bride wedlock to a tree." the damsel weaped as the shepard left with his flock. (*)(*) |
