The Passy Monster!

It happened in October,

in the middle of the day.

When pumpkins and,

scarecrows are put on display.

He'd been looking for his victim,

ever since last May.

Sneaking around on his tip toes,

peeking every which way.

Then he snatched it right under our nose.

A mean ole monster with green teeth, and long toes.

Yes he'd been looking for that tuggy as some call it today.

“Its all mine,” as he laughed and cheered hooray!

With a bag of passys he paraded far away.

We can’t replace it cause he knows where we live and play.

Its gone forever I’m afraid.

Don’t worry little one it's going to be okay.

The missing passe' (pa-say) passy,

has set you free.

Our misfortune brings us jubilee!
