True Love Lost

All the changes, I can't believe
Drugs mean more to you than me
The pain inside makes me mad
You're no longer the man I once had
We will never be the same
You've gotten too lost in the game
I no longer know who you are
The addiction has gone too far
Thoughts of treatment came too late
Our love has turned to hate
I can't look you in the face
When did these changes take place?
It seems to have happened so fast
Crying inside, can't believe this will last
Our love is now beaten and battered
Hearts broken, completley shattered
This addiction is strong
Leading you away from where you belong
Were the drugs worth the cost
A lifetime of love has been LOST...
