Yours

A recent poem I wrote.

I crave the taste of your lips at night
I long to hold you into the daylight
I want the feel of your body next to mine
I need to be yours for all time

Seeing you smile brightens my day
Looking into your eyes never turning away
Binding our souls with a bit of twine
I want to be yours for all time

Saving you when in distress
Cleaning up the pieces of our mess
Holding you when you cry
I will be yours until I die
