A longtime friendship changes when Love comes calling.

“I need my own place” she said.

I looked at her. Somehow, years of our friendship had disappeared when I started dating.

I often asked her to join us. Her response was always the same. ‘I don’t want to be a third wheel.‘

So I stopped asking.

“I need my own place too.”

Things have never been the same.
