Let peace fall on the battlefield
Let silence come to the wounded
as it has the dead
Still the screams of the dying
Wipe clean the bloodied bodies
And dry the tears that have been shed

No more clash of steel
No more call to arms
It all came to in end this day

The song of Death
Is sung in silence
Its lyrics are unclear
Its melody is not for the living
A song only the dead can hear

The battle is over
Lady Death rules the day
No victory, only defeat
