Never were and never will be.

This is my first attempt at free verse.

I loved her but,

we never were.

She stole my heart but,

we never were.

I lied many times to make her mine but,

we never were.

Never will be, Never were.

Never were and never will be.

Though I pine to my hearts desire you never wanted me.

Never will be.

I thought you loved me and always would.

Never will be.

Suddenly I find my self alone with only me to blame.

Never will be.

I wait to die but wont.

Never will be.

So I will wait for that which never was and never will be.
