A Poem

a poem is always near.

A mind at peace,
Is what I seek.
A poem I will write,
to keep my feelings in site.
In the night,in the day,
my words never stray.
A journal by my bed,
my sacred words are kept.
To write is to be free,
for my soul shall always sing.
So in my mind,
a poem I always find
