Loving is not easy...you have to love yourself first!

I thought loving you was easy
But it has been the hardest thing to do
I never thought of crying tears of hurt
Just from loving you.
My life is confused and lonely
I don't know where to go
I advice myself so strongly
That I really must let go.
I feel that I can't live without you
Or go on without your love
But there's nothing much that I can do
If your love for me has stopped.
There's a plan I must discover
For a life that's not with you
A me that must be recovered
That became so sad and blue.
All the crying that I did
Was a phase that had to be
All the years that passed us by
Really led me to this....
Remember then forget
Let go of the past
Go on with your life
Let happiness last
No more finding ways to strive
I am here I am alive
Thank you God for being my guide.
I thought loving you was easy
But loving me is easier.
