A Life of It's Own

A poem of the sea and how it calls to you, and the life it holds.

When you gaze upon the sea
it beckons to you,
in a way you can’t resist.
it says in a mesmerizing way
come to me, I insist.

Holding charms that equals none
life only the sea can bear,
the lovers  become addicted
those who fear, steer clear.

In beauty, nothing else compares
to the life within the depths
is something one can truly adore
once venturing into this world
you must come back for more.
