A letter

A poem of mine

I am actually working on this poem, considering i made a lot of mistakes. Anyways if you have any ideas on how i may fix this poem please let me know!











A Letter



Today I had a memory
As I sat and thought of you
Of the letters I used to write
When I thought that we were through
How the tears fell on the page
As I'd struggle so hard to write
Praying to god with every word
that he would make it alright
And then there you would be
knocking at my door
Eyes so full of promise
That we would fight no more
And my pain would disappear
because love would overcome me
and I knew with every test we stood
That we were meant to be
Now as I sit here tonight
crying these tears over you
I wonder if I pray with every tear that falls
this time will fate help us through?
