When I Met You

The changes in me when I "met" Jesus.

Life was an endless spin of obstacles,
      a long winding road of agonies,
      an everlasting season of depression,
      inextricable from confusion,
      an ocean deep truth,fathomless
      a nostalgic waiting for rest,
      unpermissive to peace.
When I met You
Life is indeed what it used to be;
But now,I'm courageously pacing
      through those realities
      with the inner strength
      Your words have nourished me,
      with the wisdom
      Your spirit had showered on me,
      with the security
      of the promises You won't break,
      with Your constant love and grace.
