Wrote this for the women who has helped me move on from divorce.

The crush of life fell all around

Dreams destroyed, hopes lost and drowned

Punishment was endured to save the ones most dear

To lift up their lives, a crown was laid down



Oh to once again feel the warmth of the sun

To hear the breeze and feel the ground

To once again walk the fields at dawn

And at night, to watch the stars abound



And then she appeared, a haven of light

So wistful of touch and joyous of voice

One dared not believe this to be real

One dared not believe this was her choice



Hope now slowly grows within

Dreams well up from the abyss

A heart remembers what it means to smile

A life renewed by her angel kiss
